Micro algae R&D

Practicality

Frugality

Scalability

Creating renewable impact with economic viability at scale is the core of our research

Why GreenBubble R&D?
 Because:

Experience

Vast experience in developing lab implementation and turning them into real world commercial operations

Large scale

Our R&D has provided multiple technologies that are making large scale impact across the globe

Multi-Dimensional

Expertise in not just biology but engineering, fabrication, product development, extractions and many other things.

A simple process

GreenBubble’s in house R&D facility has been the back bone of all the developments until now. We have multiple culture ponds, a low cost PBR system, a mini lab, a R&D machine development center and fish cultivation set-up. These are the center of our development backbone.

Our R&D facility mainly focuses on in house development of our solutions. Reach out to us if you are interested to collaborate.

By using our experience in large scale microalgae cultivation, we are able to guide the R&D efficiently to repeatedly and quickly produce real world implementable solutions.

Customer focus

Multiple projects across multitude of industries. We strive to learn and adapt our solutions to suit various industries. To implement algae solutions into various industries we help Boost and Guide R&D in the companies and do our own R&D as well.  We have helped product development with in many industry verticals such as:

  • Salmon: Increasing health and coloration by growing algae and feeding algae to artemia. This artemia is again fed to Salmon. The algae is grown using salmon waste
  • Shrimp: Reducing the nitrate build up in Shrimp ponds by periodic offset into algae ponds and then feed the algae to the shrimp. Increased FCR and decreased mortality.
  • Waste to colors: Using food processing waste to grow algae and extract pigments out of the algae.
  • ETP: Effluent treatment by removal of BOD, COD and heavy metals by algal cultivation and harvesting.
  • AFA: Harvesting and processing for extraction from Aphanizomenon flos-aquae
  • Omega oils: Identification of a local strain of diatom for extraction of Omega oils.
  • Many many more like chlorella, duneilella beta carotene, nannochloropsis etc..

Almost all of them having gone into commercial production, our focus is to commercialize micro algae by using our background in large scale micro algae farms.
