Microalgae for Aquaculture

Higher density

Lower feed cost

Lower mortality

Algae will consume the nitrates and ammonia released and act as food for your shrimp or fish.

Why GreenBubble’s aquaculture solutions?
 Because:

Healthier

Due to cleaner water and better food your crop is healthier and tastes better.
Better value for your produce

Lower mortality

Increase immunity, due to more abundant and complete food due to supplementation of algae

No spikes

Eliminate chance of ammonia and nitrate spikes from your system, having peace of mind

Microalgae Integrated Aquaculture

GreenBubble integrates microalgae cultivation into the aquaculture of shrimp or fish, by doing this we make the algae consume all the waste and toxins being produced by shrimp or fish. This leaves clean water that can be endlessly circulated into the culture tanks.

The algae are then fed to the zoo plankton which in turn become food for the fish. This creates effective utilization of the added fed, because of which the amount feed added reduces continuously.

A simple process

  • The water from the cultivation tank is continuously passed through our biofilter tanks for reduced ammonia and eliminate any chance of it.
  • The water is also parallelly using a solids lift mechanism sent to our settler and polishing filter where its solids are removed and circulated back to cultivation tank.
  • The solids along with partial water are sent to our micro algae system where the solids along with nitrates and other wastes are consumed by the algae.
  • A simple to use proprietary formulae has been developed that balances the algae nutrients and fish/shrimp feed, with external supplements to create consistent algae growth.
  • The algae water, on a daily basis is partially added to the organism tank where edible zoo plankton or artemia or rotifers are cultivated. These organisms feed on the algae and clear it out.
  •  The zoo plankton are harvested partially daily and fed back to the fish either by blending with the feed or by adding live depending on fish age and variety.
  • The toxin free water from zoo plankton tank is daily added back into the fish there by keeping the entire system free of waste.
